Delivering responsible, aesthetically pleasing lighting within a Special Area of Conservation is never simple but it’s also what makes this kind of work so rewarding. One of our most technically challenging and environmentally sensitive projects to-date was the lighting scheme for Dorothy House Hospice in Bradford-on-Avon.
Situated adjacent to Winsley Mines, where the rare Greater Horseshoe bats hibernate, the hospice falls within a Special Area of Conservation (SAC), requiring an approach that balanced ecological integrity with the functional needs of the site.
Our team were proud to take on this project and demonstrate that effective lighting and environmental protection can go hand in hand.
