LOOK NO FURTHER
We are confident that you are here for one of two reasons:
- Your application is ecologically sensitive and you need a bat friendly Lighting Impact Assessment.
- There were too many questions on the Lighting Impact Assessment from a previous scheme that went to planning and it nearly cost you the application approval.
You need a Lighting Impact Assessment consultant that will strengthen your application by providing a report that delivers a clear, concise, policy-lead, ecologically sensitive lighting strategy. This report will give the Local Planning Authority (LPA) the confidence to approve your application.
Do you want a lighting consultant who will support you not just for the application but throughout the determination period? Look no further… Lighting Impact Assessments (LIAs) are our speciality, we do them day in day out…from lux level plans to lighting specifications, we have what it takes to help our clients gain full planning approval. We specialise in providing lighting solutions that consider ecologically sensitive sites (such as; SSSI’s and SAC’s). We have even won an award for our work in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

We are with you every step of the way. Here are some of the services we offer:
- Undertaking baseline lighting surveys (this takes place during the dark so we can measure the existing lighting levels);
- Undertake a desktop study of the general area surrounding the site, to determine who or what could be affected by lighting (sensitive receptors);
- Develop a lighting strategy, or determine the scope of what needs lighting to ensure obtrusive light is mitigated;
- Prepare drawings showing Isolux contours to provide evidence of the extents of the lighting (where the light will fall);
